How we got here

We met in July 2021 at the Musée d'Orsay in Paris, and when Lisbeth moved back that October, we started living together. We have been more or less inseparable ever since. We love our life here: having friends round, winding each other up, and rarely having a dull evening. Almost five years on, in April 2026, Sam proposed in the same spot.

Our loved ones are spread across France, the UK, Denmark, Nicaragua and the US, and we suspect a shared fondness for a drink is part of why we all get on. Getting everyone in one place felt like reason enough for a wedding. The rest we'll keep for the vows. We would love to have you there!

Dress code

Nicaragua is a tropical country and part of our wedding will take place on the beach, so we invite you to dress for the setting—elegant, relaxed, and comfortable.

For women, flowy midi or maxi dresses in lightweight, breathable fabrics.

For men, guayaberas, linen button-downs, or other lightweight dress shirts paired with linen or dress pants. Jackets and ties are completely optional.

Think linen, cotton, and other natural fabrics. Most importantly, wear something you'll be comfortable celebrating and dancing in.

RSVP

Nothing would make us happier than knowing you'll be there. If you can, please let us know by September 1, 2026, so we can start planning accommodation and the celebration. And if you're still not sure by then, don't worry, just tell us and we can give you a little more time.
